Geox Introduces Limited Edition Spring/Summer 2010 Collection Inspired by Global Fashion Capital New York City - 28/09/2009

In honour of its growing presence in the American market and taking New York City as the ultimate US destination for fashion, Geox is launching a limited edition collection of women’s footwear for the Spring/Summer 2010 season dedicated to the iconic New York City landmark – the Empire State Building.

Each limited edition style is characterized by a 5 inch heel, carefully and expertly crafted to honour the height and form of the most famous skyscraper in the world. The heel, available in gold or silver, is appliquéd with rhinestones in several of the shoes from the top to the bottom representing the windows of the skyscraper.

The new collection offers two versions for the upper, a closed toe and an open toe, both featuring a metallic platform matching the heel in the shape of the Empire State Building. The shoes are available in a variety of rich colours such as midnight blue, gold, silver, fuchsia, red and bright green in either bold animal print patterns or dazzling sequins.
The capsule collection will be unveiled during Milan Fashion Week in Geox Showroom at 23, via Montenapoleone, a street familiar to all fashion lovers.
The Geox Shop in via Montenapoleone itself will also celebrate the famous skyscraper with a window display featuring the New York City skyline and three of the limited edition shoe styles from September 26,2009 to the end of the Milan fashion shows.

As with all Geox shoes, the limited edition Geox models feature the internationally patented, ultra-thin, waterproof and breathable rubber sole.
