Geox apparel: even garments breathe

Thanks to lab tests Geox has obtained a way to extend the ‘well-being’ concept to garments.

THE PROBLEM
Our body constantly emits heat. Our metabolism increases considerably during physical and mental exercise and under stress, raising our body temperature. And we start to sweat. If our garments create an insulating cover, the humid air cannot expand, resulting in a build up of condensation at the points where our clothing clings to our bodies most.

THE SOLUTION
Because heat rises, Geox has created a special chamber that uses a spacer between the body and the clothes we wear. Our body heat is conveyed upwards to the shoulder area. And, this is where Geox applies membrane-lined air vents, which allow the warm, humid air to escape, while keeping water out.
