THE PROBLEM
Intense sporting activity generates increased body heat and produces much more perspiration than normal situations. Perspiration, which is the natural human physiological reaction for keeping body temperature constant, doubles in the foot during a sport like running, in comparison to a situation of repose. When wearing ordinary athletic footwear, all the sweat generated through exercise will be trapped inside, as if the foot were wrapped in a plastic bag. This can cause unpleasant sensations, unhygienic effects and in some cases serious pathologies such as “athlete’s foot”.
THE SOLUTION
Net® System technology, developed by the Geox research laboratories and patented at international level, allows feet to breathe over its entire surface. The traditional rubber sole is replaced with an outside frame and a supporting net. This is combined with a special Geox membrane applied across the entire sole and this lets the foot breathe, while keeping out water, mud and any other external elements that might creep into the footwear.

THE BENEFIT
