Research and Development

The Geox group has constantly invested in innovation, ever since it was founded. Its Montebelluna head offices are host to R&D facilities, which are unique in their kind. Here, 15 technical staffers (i.e. engineers, chemists and physicists) are employed. They mainly research perspiration and human-generated heat-movement patterns. These labs test all materials used in their footwear and apparel manufacturing, check quality and especially come up with new technology and prototypes.

The Montebelluna-based team of scientists have created and patented new machinery to help them pursue their never-done-before research. Geox also works with the major research labs and universities to test and refine new technology.

This research and innovation driver has produced all of the more recent Geox projects. The most widely known today are the Rubber Patent, the Leather Patent and the Apperel Patent.

Quality Control

To ensure the consumer gets the proper service, Geox is always monitoring the quality of its marketed products. New collections are subjected to strict, lab testing in Montebelluna. Then, production is also monitored at the production sites as well as at the Italian head office.
