The flagship: The Geox Shop on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, NYC
Located deep in the heart of New York City, on the corner of Madison and 57th Street, Manhattan we find Geox’s largest and most innovative shop. Its 600 square meters are futuristically developed over two floors.
In line with the traditional Geox Concept, the shop floor is designed to give customers full, all-around vision of the products on display. The floors that used to separate the two storey levels, have been removed, to be replaced by a towering sphere. This was partly inspired by a space capsule and partly by the spherical shape of water molecules as they are commonly manifested by people’s imagination.
“New York has long been ‘the place’ for fashion innovation and shopping. The opening of this shop, right in the heart of The Big Apple also sells the world on the new idea of Italian image, of our technological and innovative products” said Mario Moretti Polegato, Geox founder and chairman, and inventor of the breathable shoe, at the shop’s inauguration.
