Italian Law n.179/2017 has extended to the private sector the discipline relating to the protection of who reports crimes or irregularities known in the context of an employment relationship (so-called "Whistleblowing Law") already foreseen in the public sector by Italian Legislative Decree 165/2001.
Geox Group, always committed to establishing a culture of ethics and integrity, in order to comply with the regulatory requirements contained in the aforementioned Law, has activated the digital platform Geox Integrity Line, a Whistleblowing system aimed to ascertain and promptly manage any illegal acts, facts and behaviors that could constitute or lead to a violation of laws and regulations, of the Management and Control Organization Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 adopted by the Company, of the Code of Ethics, of the Code of Conduct and, more generally, of company procedures.
A special dedicated channel has therefore been set up, managed by a specialized third party, which includes a digital platform (website) pable to receive reports and guarantee the anonymity of the reporting person, if required.
Therefore, anyone (employees, partners, customers, suppliers, consultants, collaborators, etc.) can submit a detailed report which will be managed directly by the Internal Audit office and / or by the Supervisory Body of Geox S.p.A. with the guarantee of maximum confidentiality. In any case, the Company will implement all the necessary measures to ensure the prohibition of retaliation or discriminatory acts against the whistleblower for reasons connected, directly or indirectly, to the reporting.
